Our physical prints are vintage. What am I agreeing to in terms of condition when I purchase a print?

We specialize in authentic vintage Edward Curtis bookplate prints. The prints in our shop are true vintage. As the nature of true vintage, our items are aged and thereby will sometimes show varying states of wear, as indicated in our item descriptions. Your purchase indicates that you have read the item's description and are aware of the print's condition as outlined.

Can I return an item purchased from your shop?

All sales of our vintage prints are final. We do not offer refunds, credits or exchanges. Our listings include detailed information about the prints, their condition & their approximate dimensions as to help you make an informed decision before purchasing. Clear, concise photos are also included as part of the description. If you are unsure about an item, or unsure if it will work for your application, please ask questions before purchasing.

How do you document your prints in order to give the most accurate representation of them?

All of the physical prints in the shop are documented as a high quality color scan. Because there were slight variations in each print run, we describe and display the prints as accurately as possible and acknowledge that there is a possibility that the print you receive will vary slightly from what is shown in the listing (color variations, degrees of wear, etc).

We present each print as accurately as possible to display our prints as true to form as possible, and provide multiple images for your consideration. There are no touch-ups or adjustments in the colors of our scans. Please remember that every computer monitor is different, so the colors you see online may not be exactly the same as the print when you receive it.

What are your standard shipping practices that take effect once I make my purchase?

Your purchase will be shipped within 24-48 hours of placing your order. We typically ship your package the same day your order is placed.

While we can't always predict shipments once they leave our shop, we find that most domestic packages are delivered within 2-4 days, depending on your location. Most international packages are delivered within 6-21 days (with longer lead times depending on your location).

All orders are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely and as described, and include delivery confirmation and tracking information.

Once your package ships, you will receive email confirmation of your tracking number.

Do you charge any added shipping fees?

The shipping charges for each listing are determined based upon your location, the weight of your order and your chosen delivery method.

Typically there are no added handling or packaging fees unless otherwise stated in the listing.

What are your shipping policies for domestic (USA) shipments?

We recommend shipping your print via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Your order will always include insurance for the full price of your purchase.

We reserve the right to change the carriers or methods of shipping if we feel it necessary to ensure the safest and most reliable option for your order.

What are your shipping policies for international (outside the USA) shipments?

We offer worldwide shipping.

Any custom fees, duties (tariffs), or taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Do you offer combined shipping or expedited shipping?

We combine shipping whenever possible and will refund the buyer for any overages greater than $2.50 calculated at the time of purchase.

We are happy to offer expedited shipping. Simply select the expedited shipping option you'd like at the time of purchase.

What happens if my order is damaged upon arrival?

If an order arrives damaged through the shipping carrier, please report this to us within 72 hours of receiving your order.

We advise you to keep the original shipping box and packaging materials. You may be required to provide additional information and photos of the damaged package in order to file a claim.

Claims are on a case to case basis and in some cases, we will not be able to file the claim on your behalf. We are unable to file a claim after 72 hours. In some cases, the buyer will have to work directly with the shipping carrier. Refunds on damaged packages can take up to 30-45 days, depending on the shipping carrier.

What happens if my order has been sent back unclaimed?

If a print comes back to us marked as unclaimed for any reason, we are not responsible for any shipping fees. The item will be re-listed without refund unless the buyer contacts us, asking for the item to be reshipped at their own expense.
